Concept
"The Miracles of the Namiya General Store" is a novel written by Higashino Keigo, a Japanese writer. 
The story is about the owner of the Namiya General Store who offered advice to his correspondents during the 1980s. Two decades later, three young men accidentally break into the abandoned store and discover the letters written by the people in the 1980s. The story revolves around how their reply to those letters could change someone's life and whether they will be able to alter something that was meant to happen. 
The title sequence of this novel aims to create a nostalgic atmosphere and the flow of time. By using simple pencil strokes to convey the feeling of handwriting.
